This study aims to explain the roles of family engagement and home-school communication quality in students’ academic self-regulation, school well-being, and academic burnout. Family engagement will be conceptualized not as direct control over homework, but as autonomy support, constructive dialogue, realistic expectations, continuous communication with teachers, and the provision of an appropriate learning environment. Structural equation modeling and interviews with students, parents, and teachers will be employed. Autonomy-supportive parenting and high-quality home-school communication are expected to enhance self-regulation and well-being, whereas excessive control and performance pressure may predict academic burnout. The findings may provide a foundation for redesigning school-based parental engagement programs around supportive partnership rather than surveillance, pressure, or one-directional communication.</p> <p>یادگیری دانش‌آموزان محصول تعامل میان تجربه‌های مدرسه، روابط خانوادگی و منابع محیطی است و نمی‌توان آن را صرفاً به فعالیت‌های کلاس درس محدود کرد. پژوهش حاضر با هدف تبیین نقش مشارکت خانواده و کیفیت ارتباط خانه و مدرسه در خودتنظیمی تحصیلی، بهزیستی مدرسه‌ای و فرسودگی تحصیلی دانش‌آموزان انجام می‌شود. در مدل پیشنهادی، مشارکت خانواده نه به معنای کنترل تکالیف، بلکه شامل حمایت از استقلال، گفت‌وگوی سازنده، تنظیم انتظارات واقع‌بینانه، ارتباط مستمر با معلم و فراهم‌کردن محیط مناسب یادگیری تعریف می‌شود. پژوهش با استفاده از مدل‌یابی معادلات ساختاری و مصاحبه با دانش‌آموزان، والدین و معلمان اجرا خواهد شد. انتظار می‌رود حمایت از خودمختاری و ارتباط باکیفیت خانه و مدرسه، خودتنظیمی و بهزیستی را افزایش دهد؛ درحالی‌که کنترل افراطی و فشار عملکردی با فرسودگی تحصیلی مرتبط باشد. یافته‌ها می‌تواند مبنایی برای بازطراحی برنامه‌های مشارکت والدین در مدارس باشد.</p>
